The breakfast with home baked pastries. It was a favourable location so close to picturesque river, and Pension Fernandez.

Sadly, there was no elevator.

The host is incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us. The rooms were beautiful and clean, perfect for our family of six. The shared bathrooms were also very clean and felt private. The washing/dryer service was a great convenience, and we greatly enjoyed the delicious homemade self-served breakfast. We even received a delightful bag of cakes for the road. Highly recommended for young families.

Location : the hotel was just off a scenic stream and peaceful surroundings and Pension Fernandez and picturesque river. Again, the venue was at a short distance from Castillo de Sarracin. The room was well-maintained with a very comfy bed and the best bathroom. We liked central heating, a microwave and a refrigerator.

Great location along the river with a beautiful view. Super comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room with personal touch in decorations and accessories. The host Maria was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The room was small, and there were a couple of flights of stairs to climb with no elevator. However, Maria kindly helped us with our luggage.

I had a wonderful experience at this albergue on the Camino. The owner of the place, Maria, was incredibly gracious and welcoming. The private room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and spotless. The albergue was conveniently located near the center of the village and offered a lovely view of the river. There were also great amenities such as laundry facilities and a delicious breakfast buffet. Maria even recommended a fantastic local restaurant for me to try. I would definitely return to this albergue.

This cozy pension was the perfect stop on our Camino journey. The price was great, the tapas were the best we had on the trip, and the owner, Maria, was warm and caring. She even arranged a horse journey for us, adding to our Camino adventure. The rooms were private and clean, with shared toilets. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Felt like home, no complaints at all.

our recent stay in vega de valcarce was wonderful, but staying at pension fernandez was even better. the view of the river was breathtaking, the bed was super comfortable, and maria's personalized touches made us feel right at home. she truly is an incredible host. highly recommended!
